My precious Aunt Cleo (or, "Clo", as I used to say as a child), passed away this morning. I am so sad. She was such a special Aunt, and a second mama to me. She was a "fun aunt", one who did things with us as a child, and who made us pretty dresses, and yummy chocolate cakes. And, I will never forget her remedy for childhood worms. . . a teaspoon of brown sugar and turpentine, once a month!!! I loved my precious Aunt Cleo, and I thank God that her illness did not linger like Mama and Aunt Rose's did. Life will never be the same for me, without her.
A BLOG FOR MY NEPHEW, CALEB... I hope you find me, soon! I love you with ALL my heart, and can't wait for you to come home!
