Magnitude 5.2 EARTHQUAKE in Illinois: Okay, people I told you so! Now, some experts are saying this a prelude of a bigger earthquake to come on the New Madrid Fault. I've been watching this website for about 2 years, ever since I saw a show on the Science Channel where experts say it WILL happen in our area, and it will be much more destructive than an earthquake in California. I'm not worried . . . I have earthquake coverage. Funny, though, the insurance company has actually reduced the coverage of their earthquake insurance. I received a notice in the mail last year that said it will no longer 100% cover the damage done by an earthquake (TN Farmers-Farm Bureau). The maximum coverage you can get now is 70%. EARTHQUAKE COMING!

Okay. Call me crazy, but I added earthquake insurance to my homeowners policy about 4 months ago. I have a "feeling" that a major earthquake will soon rock the New Madrid Fault in the Memphis/Arkansas Area; which means that all of Tennessee will be affected. We have at least 3-5 small earthquakes every week in the area, and experts have warned that it is not a matter of if, but when (source: TWC and History Channel). I check the USGS website everyday to keep an eye on them. Here is the link, and today's map: http://earthquake.usgs.gov/
I have stocked up on extra water, batteries, flashlights, and dry food. I know - "She's CRAZY!"
