Can you believe that it snowed all day in East Tennessee??? Big, beautiful , wet, snowflakes! Hard to believe that just 3 weeks ago it was in the 80's! Well, that's Tennessee weather for ya! . . . I have this vase full of interesting buttons, and I'm just wondering if I should add buttons to my yo-yo wall hanging. I think it certainly would add interest, but I don't want to take away from the simplicity of the gathered "hole" in the middle of the yo-yo. But I think since it's a wall hanging project, that the buttons might actually add some dimension to the finished project. I'm still thinking about it. . . Anyway, here is a yo-yo pillow I made several years ago. I made the yo-yo's from beige lace material (actually, an old lace curtain panel), and added these pretty crystal bead buttons in the center. The pillow is soiled, but I still like to throw it here, and there. I didn't do a very good job of putting the pillow together, but it was my first attempt. . . not that it would have made much difference!
