It was Abraham Lincoln who had it right: "Most people are just about as happy as they make up their minds to be." How true! And fortunately for me, I decided a few years ago to view the glass as half full, rather than half empty. I don't know what possessed me to start a blog, but here we go. And, as you probably have already guessed, this is my first post. I so enjoy reading other blogs! I really don't know why, but just to know that there are other women out there who don't always get their house cleaned, or who, occasionally, burn the cookies, is such a comfort! I suppose, in an Erma-Bombeck-sort-of-way, it is therapeutic to read about someone I've never met, all the way across the country, and their day-to-day experiences. My life, of course, isn't much different than anyone else's, except that I love every last little second of it. . . except for the hot flashes, weight gain, and the windows that need a desperate Spring cleaning. So, welcome to my little world. A little, bitty, place in East Tennessee, where the drawl is thick, the mountains are majestic, and everyone's blood runs ORANGE!
