Caleb and I have been busy "crafting" for Easter. Nothing fancy (couldn't, if I tried), just lots of fun things to make and do. Here is the first bunny we made. Of course, I goofed on a lot of it, but Caleb loves it, and asked if it could be his. We have 6 more bunnies to go, and I plan to name them after some elderly characters in my community, who have since passed on, but of whom I remember fondly, from my childhood. This bunny, our first, will be named "Lucy". Tomorrow, we will bake lemon and strawberry cookies (from cake mixes), and color boiled eggs. Lots of fun! Unfortunately, after 3 weeks of absolutely gorgeous weather (70's & 80's), we are now experiencing a freeze, with temps back down in the 20's!!! We just might have to hide and hunt for eggs, indoors. . . I suppose that's Tennessee weather for ya! It was warm around Christmas time. . .well, in the 50's, and now it's April, and cold again. And, I just mowed my yard, on Monday! It seems odd to see lovely Dogwoods blooming in such cold weather. Oh, well, Easter isn't about the weather anyway. . .
