I have a tote bag to carry my laptop in, but I have been wrapping the laptop up in a towel to protect it from scratches and smudges. Soooooooo, I was at the Dollar Tree, today, and purchased 2 cloth placemats (satin lined). I came home and, literally, made this cover in about 10 minutes. The laptop slips into the cover perfectly. I sewed velcro strips in the middle and hand sewed a cool button on the outside, just for fun. Now, when it gets dirty, I can just toss it into the washing machine, OR, just get 2 more cloth placemats and make another one. TWO BUCKS. . . keewl!
